{wednesday *giveaway*}

madeline weinrib might be the queen of the geometric modern dhurrie. unfortunately her prices tend to be a bit out of my budget. so when csn stores contacted me about doing another giveaway, i was thrilled to find a near look alike rug to weinrib's design. csn is a great resource for less expensive home decor options as they sell everything from rugs to platform beds. and now you have the opportunity to *win* a 2x3 fallon gray and ivory contemporary rug.
how to win: all you have to do is leave a comment below saying where you'd put this rug in your apartment/bungalow. the giveaway starts today and ends thursday, july 8th. a winner will be randomly selected and announced friday, july 9th.

p.s. in case you were wondering about some of madeline weinrib's designs, see a few below:

Hi Sarah!

It's Bailey Nevels. If I could win this rug, I would put it in my little bungalow/apartment's foyer. Planning on adding some brightly colored curtains to the room, and I think a gray rug would compliment them really well! Anyways, hope all is well!

Hey lady! Its Kate Brown.. I have been looking for a rug just like this for our bedroom! We just bought some black bedroom furniture and we are getting this beautiful duvet with lots of colors. I was hoping to find a nice grey toned small rug for the floor.
oh and ps, not that this matters too much with the randon selection, but July 9th is my birthday and it would be a fabulous b-day surprise!
And pps... totally love your blog.

I have been LUSTING after Madeline Wienrib's rugs for what seems like years now. So glad you've shared an affordable alternative...am going to browse CSN now. As for the rug above...it would be PERFECT in front of my kitchen sink.

xoxo and miss.

Hi Sarah! The rug would TOTALLY go in our kitchen! We need a color redo in there and I think the grey would go well with the yellow accents I'm leaning towards! What a great rug!

i'd love to suggest something special, such as: against the rust colored deck at the foot of the spiral staircase outside my door leading to our two-story private balcony, OR at the mouth of my favorite non-working fireplace, which is romantically adorned with golden, aqua and baby pink miniature rosebuds, perhaps as a proper stage for my indoor lemon tree in its yellow pot. but no, it would inevitably be planted beside my bed, to hide a shameful domestic disaster: the telltale black mark left by dropping the iron on my bedroom's ghastly commercial carpet. a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. <3

In the guest bedroom. Having some of the bedroom furniture painted light grey right now, so this would work great with that and the navy walls... I also think the pattern would nicely complement the nautical rope door stop I recently received and already treasure. (wink wink)

his piece of floor art would pair perfectly with what else but anywhere underneath my new Bella Tunno diaper bag in grey/yellow that i splurged on from nordstrom. you can find one here...

diaper bags and rugs in matching prints are what new mommies dream of if they could only get enough sleep to make it to that part of sleep before a little one cries out.

I'd put this in the kitchen, right in front of the sink.

The one piece of furniture I have been missing in my apartment is a coffee table. My precious grandfather heard this last Christmas and made me one himself!! Now that I have it pridefully displayed between my brown couch and plain chairs, I am realizing that I need a perfect little rug to match...and this one would be, well, just perfect!

Great giveaway SSS!
